Sam Faiers Very Collection Wish List

Images taken from

Hey Dolls,

The weekend is near and I thought I would share a few things I am wanting to get from the Sam Faiers Very collection. I love her style and the way she can pull off most looks, she looks amazing in anything and everything.

First up I am wanting my inner mermaid to come out, I have seen a lot of Mermaid trends lately including fashion and hair styles and I just can't help but love it! This dress is very festive and girly, you are sure to stand out from the crowd in this, it's very figure flattering and just the perfect length.

The second dress is also very girly and sexy with the front cut out and neckline. This is perfect for a girls Christmas night out on the town, I feel this will really flatter my body shape paired with a pair of nude court shoes.

As a city office girl I love tailored trousers, these high waisted bottoms give sophistication and glam to the work place while making your legs look longer and your waist smaller.

I am the jumpsuit gal! I have so many jumpsuits they are always my go to outfit choice, they can be dressed up or down while making you feel comfortable at the same time. This white jumpsuit with a tan will look amazing, I would probably pair this with a black heel and black clutch.

Lush Big Sea Salt Shampoo

Hey Dolls...

Have you always wanted big bouncy voluminous hair? Then this shampoo is for you! The moment I put this unusual salty shampoo onto my hair I knew it was love at first sight, it made me feel like a mermaid swimming through a clear blue ocean. Some of you may think, salt shampoo?! but this is not just a salt shampoo, it adds volume, leaves your hair feeling squeeky clean, shining like an angel sent from above and smelling delicious. I can sit for hours smelling this stuff it is so yum.

I have used this product for around 5-6 months now and I gone through quite a few tubs. I am not one to use a shampoo for this long so it must be good, I always find myself re purchasing this! It retails in Lush for £12.25 for 330g, and it lasts a reasonable long time, a little does lather up a lot.

You may think salt will dry out your hair, but this is mixed with oils such as coconut and mandarin which makes your hair silky smooth, it also has lemon and lime juices to give your hair that mega shine from making your hair cuticles lay flat allowing more light to reflect. I am a lover of Lush because of their all natural products and this is by far my favourite product from them, it is not only natural but also it really does what it says on the tub, it gives you BIG luxurious to the touch hair.

My Top 7 Sick Day Must Have's/Do's

Image taken from Pinterest

The last couple of days I have been feeling rather under the weather, the daunting sick time of the year is officially here. I am a person which is very prone to being sick especially with colds! 90% of the time I battle through but the odd 10% I just want to snuggle on the sofa and relax for a couple of days. I have listed below my top 7 sick day must have's/do's for when all I want to do is nothing but still want to feel human.

  • First up, cosey snuggly pjs, whether its a onesie or fleecy 2 piece, comfortable lounge wear is a must! You want to feel like a human teddy bear to battle through the coughs and sneezes.
  • Nothing beats a nice relaxing bath. When I am ill, in the evening I will run a very hot bath with my favourite bubble bath. Sometimes I also put a little bit of melted vapor rub in the bath or on the side, with the steam from the hot water it helps to clear out the airways which are causing your nose to be stuffy and blocked, it leaves you feeling fresh and less germy.
  • Along with a hot bath I like to keep my skincare simple, I don't know about anyone else but the last thing I want to be doing is putting product after product on when I am not feeling too great. The first skin care product I will use is a hydrating face mask whilst in the bath, the steam will open the pores of the skin letting the mask to fully work its magic in making my dull complexion much brighter, hydrated and fresh. The second product is my everyday moisturiser, I will pop this on straight after the bath for that extra hydration.
  • Having handy a smartphone, laptop, or tablet. When I am laying around I must admit I get rather bored. I usually take this time to catch up on youtube videos, reading blogs and doing some online shopping. Its amazing how much shopping can actually make you feel better. Also watching netflix and love film gets me through the painful hours I am laying around waiting for a miracle to feel some what human again.
  • Adopt a puppy. Ok maybe not actually get a puppy, but my dogs keep me warm and cosey. Nothing beats puppy snuggles when feeling grubby.
  • Stick to blankets and layers. A good warm blanket will keep you heated up when you get the flu chills but not too warm you feel like your going to pass out when the hot sweats start.
  • My bestfriend when I'm ill is tea. English breakfast tea or green tea. I just love tea! It is something to sip on whilst watching the walking dead box set and catching up on all my youtube subscriptions.

These are all the thing I like to have and do whilst I'm feeling unwell, not much but to be snuggly and warm but I thought I would share.

October Favourites x

Hey Dolls,

It's Friday and it's Halloween, what better day to post my October favourites. I hope everyone is having a lovely day so far and has not been too spooked out yet. Lets begin...

I love eyebrows, who doesn't? it has took me over a year to grow my natural eyebrows into the shape I like and to get them looking thicker and fuller without using brow powders and gels. I am still not fully there yet but over the last couple of months I have been dying my eyebrows with this kit from Superdrug, I can't find this online so I am not sure if they still sell this, it would be a shame because it works so well, it gives me the colour I need and makes my eyebrows look filled in without using any products.

I have been gradual fake tanning recently and I find after a while you can get a build up and in need of a scrub and to start over. I have been loving this St Ives Apricot Body Scrub and the Clean & Clear Skin Brightening Facial Scrub. The St Ives Scrub has so many good reviews online and it is so affordable so I thought I would give a try, overall I really like it, it really gets the tuff dead skin off my elbows and knees.

As a sufferer for over 10 years of bad skin and acne I have found it hard to get a balance in keeping my skin looking clear. I use this scrub every morning to make my face feel fresh and it gives a gentle exfoliation without over doing it. I have noticed it has made my skin look brighter and more radiant and has kept my black heads at bay, definitely a rolling monthly favourite.

These Cheryl lashes have been my life this month. I have gone through 2 pairs so far, they are amazing for a more natural flutter. Great for casual and for a night out

The real techniques beauty blender is my new favourite tool to use for applying my foundation, it makes your face look flawless and so easy to blend the product. I was a bit sceptical over using a sponge to apply make up but now I am sold! It works best when wet but also just as well dry if you're in a hurry. For under 6 quid this truly is a bargain must have for everyones make up bag.

Last but not least I love my MAC soft and gentle highlighter, I have used this everytime I do make up since I purchased it last month in Marbella, this is a classic hoily grail go to highlighter, you just cant go wrong with it!

OOTN Saturday Night Out x

Hey Dolls!

Just a quick outfit of the night from Saturday because I just love this outfit. I just went out locally for my Aunties 2nd hen night, I had a really good night but I left early because I am a light weight (shame face).

Outfit Details:

Neon Pink Co-Ord -
Primark Basic Black Tank Top
Forever 21 Clutch Bag -
Michael Kors Watch -
Christian Louboutin Black Lady Peep 150 -

I adore this outfit because I literally put it together in 5 minutes and it looks really classy and tailored but at the same time it is really fun! I am normally a very plain girl, as in I don't really do patterns and nothing too out there but I find this neon suit really suited me well.

STK London

Something different this week, last Saturday I went to STK London at the Me Hotel on the Strand to celebrate my Fiancés birthday. This place is so lovely and classy I felt like royalty being there. The service was amazing and the food even more amazing. We got there 30 minutes early and expected to be told to wait in the bar but they showed us to our table straight away which was a bonus because I was so hungry! I loved the atmosphere in this restaurant, they have up beat music playing the background at a reasonable level and it really puts you in a good mood to be there along with the low lit lighting and the chandeliers. The only thing we had a problem with was the chairs, they was comfortable but you felt like you was sitting really far below the table.

For starters I had the lil burgers, main I had the small fillet (medium-well) with lobster topping and pepper sauce and parmesan truffle chips on the side, yum. For dessert I had to go all out and have the fairground, who wouldn't? Even though I did struggle to eat it all!

I want to go back here for my birthday in December and hopefully try something different for each course, I have shared some pictures below (apologises in advance to the random boy in one).

Overall I will highly recommend this place for a special occasion celebration or to treat yourself once in a while as it is pricey but so worth it.

Natural Glow Obsession

Hey Dolls

I have been loving this natural make up look lately, I have been wearing it almost every day to work. I am a big lover of bright lipsticks and lip glosses but I find now winter is upon us it is nice to tone it down a little bit more and stick with nudes and simple colours. I find this look makes my skin look glowy but still natural at the same time, best way to describe it, natural but without looking like something from the walking dead!

September Favourites ❥

Hey Dolls, here is everything I have been loving everyday of September, lets begin...

First things first... Dove Advanced Hair Series Pure Care Dry Oil Shampoo and Conditioner,
this product has made my hair go from a frizzy chlorine sun damaged mess to beautiful shiny and sleak! I have used this for around 2 and a half weeks and I saw a difference in my hair after the first wash which is pretty rare, for me anyway.

Dove claim the below:

"Dove Pure Care Dry Oil is a luxurious range infused with African Macadamia Oil. It deeply nourishes and beautifies hair with lustrous shine and up to 5x silkier texture.* Our conditioner smoothes hair leaving it sublimely silky, without weighing it down. Enjoy lustrous locks that are free flowing with silkiness and shine."

They are definitely not lying this is by fair the best shampoo and conditioner I have ever used, yes it beats Macadamia and Aussie in my eyes, I highly recommend this if you have very dry, damaged and not much life hair, give it ago!

Next is this heat protection reconstructor milk from Kerastase, Kérastase Resistance Ciment Thermique Heat-Activated Reconstructor Milk Level 1-4. My hairdresser used this on my hair a few months back and I just loved the way my hair blow dried out I had to buy a bottle to take home, I use this product every time I wash my hair before blow drying and it not only keeps my hair protected from blow drying and hot tools, it also smoothes and softens, love love love!

The last beauty product I have been loving is this NYX Mega Shine Lipgloss in the colour Tea Rose. I picked this up at IMATS and forgot to mention it in my haul, but I have been wearing this a lot throughout September with a light pink blush and neutral eyelined eye, the colour is a really nice mid tone pink perfect for a everyday look for work and running errands etc. It is not too sticky and gives a little bit of shine and colour to enhance your natural lip shade.

Favourite song of the month!

This month I have been playing on repeat Ed Sheeran - Thinking Out Loud, I recently got in engaged to my boyfriend of 3.5 years and the song just suits my situation perfectly, I can relate so much and I just think it is a lovely song with such a beautiful lyrics.

I am in The British 10k London Run Supporting Tommy's...

Hey Dolls,

So I am a big fitness freak and love running and walking for charities as it is what I love doing and to keep me fit, I have previously ran the Cancer's Race for Life and power walked in my bra overnight in London for 13.1 miles for the MoonWalk raising awareness for Breast Cancer.

I am waiting very patiently for my marathon ballot place decision, so I also decided to sign up to The British 10k London Run, I decided to go for a completely different charity this time called Tommy's named after St Thomas' Hospital.

Current Favourite Foundation: Estee Lauder Double Wear

Hey Dolls,

So this foundation is literally the holy grail in the blogger/vlogger world, nearly every beauty guru speaks about this product and constantly raves great things. I have just finished my first bottle of this little beauty and I can honestly say this is the best foundation I have ever used, it just does not want to come off my face, in a good way I must add. I went to the Estee Lauder counter in boots to get colour matched, the lady was really lovely but also tried selling me

La Bella by Samantha Faiers

Hey Dolls,

So I have been loving this début scent from Samantha Faiers, if you do not know who she is was on the British reality TV show, The Only Way is Essex. I have been using this fragrance for just over a month now and I love love love it! It reminds me a bit of Prada Candy, it is a very sweet fruity scent and I find it is perfect as an everyday perfume as it is very affordable (£24.50 from The Fragrance shop) but just adds that touch of luxury and glam to your everyday life. Also it lasts for ever, I have hardly made a dent and I have been spraying this a lot over the past month.

The perfume itself comes in a 100ml slightly tinted glass bottle and it feels very luxurious to hold, overall I think this fragrance is amazing, affordable and I would definitely recommend it to you if you love the sweet perfumes.

My Trip to Cyprus Nissi Bay 2014

Hey Everyone,

Last week I returned from my trip to Cyprus, I had such an amazing time and the beach was amazing. I stayed just outside Ayia Napa in Hotel Atlantica Aeneas for 7 nights, it is a 5 star hotel and apparently has one of the largest swimming pools in world?! It was my first time staying at this hotel as I normally stay at the Olympic Lagoon Resort down the road which is also beaut. All the stuff at the Aeneas were so kind and lovely and the food was out of this world, I am literally coming home 10 stone heavier! I would recommend this hotel to anybody, couples and families. They have a variety of different rooms and suites some have jacuzzi's and some are swim up room straight from the pool, very cool.

I Thought I would share a few pictures of my trip mostly of me the beautiful Nissi Beach, enjoy!

IMATS London 2014 Haul

Hey Dolls.
I took a trip to Imats London this year, this was the first Imats I attended and I absolutely loved it! I picked up some goodies and thought I would share.
I got 2 NYX Jumbo Eye Pens in the colours Lime and Pure Gold, 2 NYX blushers in the colours Rose Garden and Mauve, 2 NYX Butter Glosses in the colours Peach Cobbler and Apple Strudel, and a NYX cream blush stick in Pink Poppy. These are the first ever NYX products I have purchased, I have wanted some NYX goodies for so long, so this was very exciting for me!
I love the pigmentation and how affordable and long wearing the products are.

Next I picked up some Glitters from Eye Candy Cosmetics. I have never actually heard of thee before my friend suggested we try them, I got the 3 pack that comes with the sugar liquid brush and in this cute little pink drawstring bag.

I chose the colours Pixie Stick and Candy Coin as I thought they would go amazingly well with the NYX Jumbo Eye Pens, also I have green eyes so the green glitter will really make my eyes pop and stand out. Black Bart I though would go really well with a smokey eye and add that extra glamour, also to use on top of an eyeliner.

I am a bit late on this one, but I picked up Ruby Woo, I love red lips and I'm surprised I haven't gotten this sooner! I love the colour, it can be a bit drying but I just make sure I moisturise my lips first. The first time I wore this to work I got so many compliments, it made me want to wear it everyday!

Lastly I got these 3 brushes from Crown Brush
Left: C450 - I Think this will be perfect for cheek contouring and under eye concealer
Middle: Double end tapered, the larger side perfect for under eye concealer, the smaller side perfect for getting colour right in the crease and on the outer V of the eye.
Right: C139 Stiff tapered crease, perfect for blending out eye shadow in the crease of the eye.
That's all I got at Imats this year, I saw some amazing make up and I literally wanted to buy everything. I already cannot wait until next year.
