October Favourites x

Hey Dolls,

It's Friday and it's Halloween, what better day to post my October favourites. I hope everyone is having a lovely day so far and has not been too spooked out yet. Lets begin...

I love eyebrows, who doesn't? it has took me over a year to grow my natural eyebrows into the shape I like and to get them looking thicker and fuller without using brow powders and gels. I am still not fully there yet but over the last couple of months I have been dying my eyebrows with this kit from Superdrug, I can't find this online so I am not sure if they still sell this, it would be a shame because it works so well, it gives me the colour I need and makes my eyebrows look filled in without using any products.

I have been gradual fake tanning recently and I find after a while you can get a build up and in need of a scrub and to start over. I have been loving this St Ives Apricot Body Scrub and the Clean & Clear Skin Brightening Facial Scrub. The St Ives Scrub has so many good reviews online and it is so affordable so I thought I would give a try, overall I really like it, it really gets the tuff dead skin off my elbows and knees.

As a sufferer for over 10 years of bad skin and acne I have found it hard to get a balance in keeping my skin looking clear. I use this scrub every morning to make my face feel fresh and it gives a gentle exfoliation without over doing it. I have noticed it has made my skin look brighter and more radiant and has kept my black heads at bay, definitely a rolling monthly favourite.

These Cheryl lashes have been my life this month. I have gone through 2 pairs so far, they are amazing for a more natural flutter. Great for casual and for a night out

The real techniques beauty blender is my new favourite tool to use for applying my foundation, it makes your face look flawless and so easy to blend the product. I was a bit sceptical over using a sponge to apply make up but now I am sold! It works best when wet but also just as well dry if you're in a hurry. For under 6 quid this truly is a bargain must have for everyones make up bag.

Last but not least I love my MAC soft and gentle highlighter, I have used this everytime I do make up since I purchased it last month in Marbella, this is a classic hoily grail go to highlighter, you just cant go wrong with it!

OOTN Saturday Night Out x

Hey Dolls!

Just a quick outfit of the night from Saturday because I just love this outfit. I just went out locally for my Aunties 2nd hen night, I had a really good night but I left early because I am a light weight (shame face).

Outfit Details:

Neon Pink Co-Ord - www.pinkboutique.co.uk
Primark Basic Black Tank Top
Forever 21 Clutch Bag - www.forever21.com
Michael Kors Watch - www.michaelkors.com
Christian Louboutin Black Lady Peep 150 - www.christianlouboutin.com

I adore this outfit because I literally put it together in 5 minutes and it looks really classy and tailored but at the same time it is really fun! I am normally a very plain girl, as in I don't really do patterns and nothing too out there but I find this neon suit really suited me well.

Please let me know if you would like more OOTD'S and OOTN's, in the meantime please follow me on Instagram @amie_bx I post all the time :D

STK London

Hey...

Something different this week, last Saturday I went to STK London at the Me Hotel on the Strand to celebrate my Fiancés birthday. This place is so lovely and classy I felt like royalty being there. The service was amazing and the food even more amazing. We got there 30 minutes early and expected to be told to wait in the bar but they showed us to our table straight away which was a bonus because I was so hungry! I loved the atmosphere in this restaurant, they have up beat music playing the background at a reasonable level and it really puts you in a good mood to be there along with the low lit lighting and the chandeliers. The only thing we had a problem with was the chairs, they was comfortable but you felt like you was sitting really far below the table.

For starters I had the lil burgers, main I had the small fillet (medium-well) with lobster topping and pepper sauce and parmesan truffle chips on the side, yum. For dessert I had to go all out and have the fairground, who wouldn't? Even though I did struggle to eat it all!

I want to go back here for my birthday in December and hopefully try something different for each course, I have shared some pictures below (apologises in advance to the random boy in one).

Overall I will highly recommend this place for a special occasion celebration or to treat yourself once in a while as it is pricey but so worth it.

Natural Glow Obsession

Hey Dolls

I have been loving this natural make up look lately, I have been wearing it almost every day to work. I am a big lover of bright lipsticks and lip glosses but I find now winter is upon us it is nice to tone it down a little bit more and stick with nudes and simple colours. I find this look makes my skin look glowy but still natural at the same time, best way to describe it, natural but without looking like something from the walking dead!

Products used in order:

Benefit Porefessional
MAC Skin Refined Zone Treatment
Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation
Make Up Forever HD Powder
Sleek Contour Kit
Chanel Rouge Blush

Seventeen Wet Look Liquid Eyeliner
Benefit Bad Gal Eye Liner - Waterline
Anastasia Beverley Hills Brow Pomade
Cheryl Cole Eyelure Eyelashes 114
NYX Buttergloss in Apple Strudel

Hope you like this look and try it out!

September Favourites ❥

Hey Dolls, here is everything I have been loving everyday of September, lets begin...

First things first... Dove Advanced Hair Series Pure Care Dry Oil Shampoo and Conditioner,
this product has made my hair go from a frizzy chlorine sun damaged mess to beautiful shiny and sleak! I have used this for around 2 and a half weeks and I saw a difference in my hair after the first wash which is pretty rare, for me anyway.

Dove claim the below:

"Dove Pure Care Dry Oil is a luxurious range infused with African Macadamia Oil. It deeply nourishes and beautifies hair with lustrous shine and up to 5x silkier texture.* Our conditioner smoothes hair leaving it sublimely silky, without weighing it down. Enjoy lustrous locks that are free flowing with silkiness and shine."

They are definitely not lying this is by fair the best shampoo and conditioner I have ever used, yes it beats Macadamia and Aussie in my eyes, I highly recommend this if you have very dry, damaged and not much life hair, give it ago!

Next is this heat protection reconstructor milk from Kerastase, Kérastase Resistance Ciment Thermique Heat-Activated Reconstructor Milk Level 1-4. My hairdresser used this on my hair a few months back and I just loved the way my hair blow dried out I had to buy a bottle to take home, I use this product every time I wash my hair before blow drying and it not only keeps my hair protected from blow drying and hot tools, it also smoothes and softens, love love love!

The last beauty product I have been loving is this NYX Mega Shine Lipgloss in the colour Tea Rose. I picked this up at IMATS and forgot to mention it in my haul, but I have been wearing this a lot throughout September with a light pink blush and neutral eyelined eye, the colour is a really nice mid tone pink perfect for a everyday look for work and running errands etc. It is not too sticky and gives a little bit of shine and colour to enhance your natural lip shade.

Favourite song of the month!

This month I have been playing on repeat Ed Sheeran - Thinking Out Loud, I recently got in engaged to my boyfriend of 3.5 years and the song just suits my situation perfectly, I can relate so much and I just think it is a lovely song with such a beautiful lyrics.

I am in The British 10k London Run Supporting Tommy's...

Hey Dolls,

So I am a big fitness freak and love running and walking for charities as it is what I love doing and to keep me fit, I have previously ran the Cancer's Race for Life and power walked in my bra overnight in London for 13.1 miles for the MoonWalk raising awareness for Breast Cancer.

I am waiting very patiently for my marathon ballot place decision, so I also decided to sign up to The British 10k London Run, I decided to go for a completely different charity this time called Tommy's named after St Thomas' Hospital.
